The RoboVac 11S, which is eufy, is an excellent choice for regular vacuuming. It shares a similar design to our top choice and is good at picking up fine dust and larger debris from hard flooring. It does a good job on carpets with medium or low pile. Similar to the Roomba by iRobot Roomba it also has a very large dirt compartment and utilizes BoostIQ to automatically adjust suction power. It has an easy-to-use remote control and you can organize daily cleanings with the app. The battery can last for around an hour and the dustbin can be cleaned without taking it from the dock.

2. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is an excellent robot vacuum and mop with a wide range of automation options. It is available in three models including the standard S7, the S7 MaxV Plus, and the S7 MaxV Ultra. The latter model is the only one with an Empty Wash Fill Dock (or an alternative Auto-Empty Dock). These docks allow the robot to return to its original location, empty the collected debris in a dust bag, or reservoir, drain the dirty water tank, and wash its mopping pads.

Sensors on the S7 work together to clean and eliminate obstacles. It can detect floor types and save a map for rooms and zones. It can even detect dirt levels. It's also capable of scheduling and carrying out spot-cleaning sessions. It was able to perform well in our standard tests, though it couldn't quite match the iRobot Roomba j7+ in our carpet deep clean test.

You can program the S7 by using the companion app to run a cleaning routine according to your schedule. Shark's robot vacuums aren't as popular than those from iRobot or Roborock. But our tests have shown that this model is one of the most effective self-emptying vacuums available. The i7 is also more robust and feels more durable and robust, has lower maintenance requirements, incurs lower monthly costs, and charges faster while offering comparable battery performance, and comes with much more advanced automation features like no-go zones and the capability to choose specific rooms for a clean.

iRobot J7+

This robot vac/mop combination is a rare beast, because it can do both tasks exceptionally well. The iRobot Combo J7+ comes with all the features of its j7-based counterpart, including self-emptying and LiDAR mapping however, it also comes with additional features for both mopping and vacuuming.

The j7+ uses the latest acoustic sensor to determine the type of floor and allows it to vacuum or mop the room in its first attempt. It also utilizes this information to prioritize cleaning rooms that have carpet or rugs over those with hard floors.

Like most robotic vacuums, the j7+ is surprisingly quiet when it's running, and much quieter when mopping. The maximum reading of 64db on our decibel scale is comparable to normal office chatter.

It's easy to set an appointment for cleaning and adjust the way that the j7+ operates when its dust canister is full. The j7+ can be controlled by voice assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant and others. The app allows you to create and view maps in your home.

In our tests, the j7+ performed admirably on carpeted and hard floors, and it cleaned up most of the dirt we threw at it. It has a difficult time dealing with pet hair, large particles and sand. But it is able to remove them with a bit more effort. It has good navigational abilities and two cliff sensors that stop it from falling down the stairs or getting stuck on furniture legs.

We did find a couple of small niggles with the j7+, mostly that it could snag rugs and cords and that it doesn't always shut off its mopping when it's finished vacuuming. This is a fantastic model that checks all the boxes.

iRobot J7+ is one of the most efficient auto-emptying systems that we've ever examined. It dumps its 14oz/0.4-liter dust canister into the base station, and it automatically empties for you. This reduces the amount of garbage you need to dispose of and you'll only need to replace the reusable dust disposal bag from the dock about every 60 days or so, depending on how often you use the j7+.
